Alter Acoustic – Songwriting and music production camp

Alter Acoustic Songwriting and music production camp (ALTA) 2022 took place in Viscri and it was the first edition of the camp. This project connects some of the most representative indie songwriters and producers in Romania for one week of creative songwriting, music production and sound design.

Focused to create a space towards a more experimental approach, the artists will also get to experience a part of the lifestyle this place and its surroundings have to offer.

All three members of Golan, alongside Valeria Stoica and Moonlight Breakfast were guests and were accommodated in 19th century heritage Saxon houses for the entirety of their stay. The main studio setup was hosted in an 150 year old barn located right next to the Evangelical fortified church of Viscri, one of the best preserved churches in Transylvania dating from the 13th century.

ALTA Camp aims at becoming an annual project, through which emerging indie-electro artists and bands will come to work together in Viscri to create new music, to discover the multicultural and multi-ethnic villages of Transylvania and to be inspired by the local culture.
