In recent months we started working on the setup of an educational centre in Viscri to be inaugurated in January 2023. We’ve already gathered a lot of items and materials that bring pleasure and will be of great use to the local children: books for a library, computers and printers for an IT centre, musical instruments for workshops and, of course, a lot of games and toys. 

The centre will be open every day of the week, after school hours, for children and young people from the village who want to spend their free time in a useful way, under the supervision of an experienced tutor.

With support from the local guesthouses we hope to be able to launch a volunteering summer programme and use Viscri’s reputation to host international art students that are willing to pass on their experience to the children of our community.
