Christmas trip for the children with the best results from the Educational Centre

Christmas trip for the children with the best results from the Educational Centre

As the year 2023 concludes, the Alba Eglesia Foundation, in association with its key sponsor PestControl Expert, has taken the step to acknowledge and appreciate the noteworthy efforts of the children from the Educational Centre in Viscri.

Seven children, recognized for their exemplary results, commitment, and dedication to self-improvement, were chosen for an enriching Christmas trip to Bucharest from December 15th to 17th, 2023.

This memorable excursion was generously organized and funded by PestControl Expert, a leading Romanian company specializing in the distribution of national and global brands for plant protection and public hygiene, with a network of trusted partners worldwide.

Since the establishment of the Educational Centre, the foundation has monitored the progress of the children, utilizing online tests to track individual growth.

Following the 2023 evaluation, seven children emerged as top performers, demonstrating commitment and dedication to overcoming learning challenges. These deserving youngsters were selected for the Christmas trip to Bucharest, a well-deserved reward for their hard work and enthusiasm.

PestControl Expert, our key sponsor, played a pivotal role in transforming this dream trip into a reality. Beyond financial support, members of the company’s team accompanied the children and their local instructor from Viscri during their visit to the Romanian capital city.

The Christmas trip unfolded with visits to some of Bucharest’s most enchanting sites. A highlight for the children was the Christmas Fair organized in front of the Parliament of Romania, featuring stands adorned with festive delights, a carousel ride, a towering big wheel, and sweet treats—all contributing to a joyous Christmas atmosphere and creating cherished memories for the children. A stroll along Union Boulevard, known for its choreographic artesian fountains, further heightened the experience.

The mall proved to be another exciting destination, offering the children a chance to explore main shops and indulge in various activities, including simulation video games and a cinematic adventure.

The journey also included a visit to the “Grigore Antipa” National Museum of Natural History, one of the most visited museums in the country. The children were captivated by exhibits from diverse collections, including animals, paleontology, anthropology, geology, ethnography, and comparative anatomy, adding a layer of enrichment to their overall experience.

Apart from the planned activities, the children took leisurely strolls along the main boulevards, experienced the Metro for the first time, explored various shops, and learned more about Bucharest’s iconic places from the team that accompanied them.

This Christmas trip was more than an opportunity to explore a different world outside the village of Viscri. It was a chance for the children to interact with others, strengthen their bond with the local instructor, and acquire new social skills in the vibrant setting of the city of Bucharest.

The Alba Eglesia Foundation recognizes the power of such experiences in shaping the lives of the children from the Educational Centre. This initiative not only rewarded their dedication and progress but also created lasting memories, fostering a sense of joy, curiosity, and friendship.

With gratitude to PestControl Expert and a commitment to future endeavors, the foundation remains dedicated to providing unique opportunities that uplift and reward the children participating in the activities within the Educational Centre.
